1972 Chevy suburban “the black smokin burb” is for sale. Fairly quick and fun suburban. It has been to run to the sun a few times averaging 25mpg. The last trip was a 2hr trip up the parkway which it had a lot of attention.
-96 dodge 12 valve was resealed when built, oem headgasket, 70hp injectors, pump turned up.
-47rh auto mild rebuild before install, race me stand alone programmable harness
- qa1 front and rear coilover suspension
-moser 9” housing, chomoly shafts, locker and disk brake all done by LP performance
-Carolina powertrain driveshaft
-Wilwood front brakes w/ drills and slotted rotors
- champion aluminum radiator
- hydroboost conversion
-Ididit column w/ corvette style wheel
- lokar tall shifter
-4” exhaust
-20” Detroit steel wheels powder coated flat white
-horn blasters train horn
This burb originally came from VA so it has some rust the worst being the front doors(I have a spare set of ochre doors for it), there is some lower driver side rust which I have the panels for it just never bothered me. The powersteering leaks when you park it over night(I haven’t investigated it). I’ve only drove it 4-5 times this year so it’s time for someone to enjoy it. I have not notched the rear frame, if rear passengers were going to ride I’d suggest it. I do have a full second row seat if you don’t like the partial 2nd row. $32,500 or best offer clean title in hand I can get videos pictures etc of whatever you want. I do have a folder of all the receipts on it. Located in Statesville

So badass …how’s the 72 k5 doing these days?

Nah.
It was mine first. I sold it OP about….5 years ago or so.

One of only two (out of probably 60 vehicles) I’ve sold I regret, just got frustrated i couldn’t get time to finish it and just sold a bunch of stuff.

That truck is a bit of a unicorn. Nc4 helped me find. It took me a year to get a title because of a wild story. It has a number of ..not exactly rare but certainly uncommon options. Minimal rust. (I lut rockers and front floor pans in it. Rear pan was original and spotless…and that in itself is rare ..I could go on
