1975 Mercedes O 309 D Mini Bus (diesel)! What kind of rare bus have you seen?

This is probably one of the coolest vehicles I have listed on eBay for a friend of mine. It is located on the west coast so no use trying to sell it on this board. I was curious as to how many of you have seen or driven one of these? It is definitely a first for me! If you have, any pictures? Also, if you have driven, seen, or own something close, post up a picture! I love cool old buses/RVs/motorhomes and I find them interesting. I rebuilt and drove a 1987 Astro Allegro 21ft RV from NC to Alaska, across Canada to Maine, and back to NC this year. After seeing all the different types on the road, I think it is awesome to see what people have or have been around.

W all that glass it looks like it would make a sweet commercial sightseeing tour bus on the Blue Ridge or any other scenic highway/park.

For that same reason it would be miserable to try to make an RV out of it as the ad says... too much glass.
 
I didn't even thing about all the glass being a factor but definitely a good thing to take into consideration. However, after researching these for hours, a RV is the most common use for them. A few hundred dollars in some 5% tint all the way around and you're good to go! A sight seeing bus would be awesome in any part of North America for sure.
