1976 Jeep CJ Accelerator Pedals- there ARE different kinds. Help?

Hi, I am rebuilding a 76 cj5. This is the red-headed step child year. Power drums all around, weird
fuel filler etc..

I bought a cj pedal off ebay. They all look like this first pic. Every one. I need a 2 bolt style like in the second 2 pics. I can't find anything anywhere talking about this difference. Anyone know what i can do, look for?

You made me look! Thought I might have saved one, but no. My 79 has the 3 bolt. Can you drill the floor to make the 3 bolt work? IF, you don't find a 2 bolt.

Tough to say. It almost looks like the bends on the 3 bolt don't match the firewall. I looked in my 74-79 tsm and this should be the pedal for all those years.

In the 74-79 TSM it shows the 2 bolt as the only option. I was able to find one but it was a challenge. thanks all.

The pedal is slightly different. I had to change mine when I added the under dash AC unit to my 86 scrambler. Cant remember where the interference comes in at but it had to be changed.

You have an '86 Scrambler?? I'm intrigued. I've never met anyone who's ever seen one yet alone owned one. If you still have it please join us over at www.cj-8.com

Actually I am a member on CJ-8.com and posted when I found the Scrambler. I sold it two weekends ago to help offset some family issues. Hated to see it go. But here is a picture of it:

Yea, original paint and interior. Less than 40k original miles. Also had a new 4BT under the hood.
