hello everyone i just got a 1980 k5 blazer n im looking to get it lifted, i will like to run 38, 39" tires what size lift u recomend i look at skyjacker, rough country, pro comp etc, 6 or 8" lift kit, and were are the best prices to shop,

More than 6", and the driveshafts get steep and more expensive to be done right and live. Tough County EZ-ride lifts get good reviews for riding smooth and flexing decent.

i would just buy 8 inch spring seperate instead of a kit, most 8 inch kits will come with blocks for the rear making it ride like a covered wagon. if you find a kit with all spring then its probably your best bet. also you'll want to relocate your axle shims to help out with pinion angle. i have a friend with a 4 inch lift on a k5 and he didn't relocate and he could not keep u joints in it.
