I think I like this look best. The cab is in the stock position is. I don't want to rais the cab but I think I may have to to make clearance for t case.
All I did today was take the rubber insulators off the springs to see how it looks even lower. I found that the track bar and diff cover were kissing! So inappropriate! So I have to figure that out. The whole reason I started this project is that I was considering buying a side by side. They are built cheap and OMG they cost more than my car! So my goal was to build something my fat 53 year old ass can get into. Tires have always been expensive but jeesh! Good gravy are they proud of them. So this build is going to be something light is with a max of 35" tires or whatever Craigslist provides.
I also put the hood on it so it doesn't accidently drink more than it's daily allotment of water.
I've no idea when this will be drivable. Right now there is so much to do I pretty much whatever suits me. I do want to figure out the front suspension now that there is weight on there. This will be my first link suspension so if you see me doing something more stupid than normal please chime in. I'm more of a function over perfection kind of guy. Thanks for coming by.
