1982 CJ7 Laredo Build - 5/17

Starting to put it back together...still a few items to install, but made great progress today!



Punch list includes:
Headlight trim rings
Heater box
Replace rear axles
Brake job at all 4 corners
Install seats
Build front bumper
Build rear bumper and tire carrier

Drive it around

If anyone is interested, this is the shop that shot my Jeep. Ask for Dedi and mention my Jeep. I won’t get anything, but want him to know I’m thrilled with his work and that I’m passing his name along!!

Rear axle housing is out... Normally a 2 man job...but I didn’t have that option so I found a solution (homemade dollies that mount onto the lug nuts and clearances for the front 4x4 hubs). New housing should be here next weekend... reverse of the removal process except I have to burn in new spring perches.

Once the rear is in, I’ll move to the front. I’ll have to also add spring perches and shock mounts.
