@Kickdeez and I acquired this truck somewhere around a decade ago, stock, bedless, and with a blown head gasket. We pulled the motor, replaced the head gasket and timing chaing/guides, and resealed it, then the upgrades began over time. All specs are to the best of my knowledge and are current. They include:
22r with gotpropane kit
Powermaster GM 1 wire alternator
Stock Transmission in decent working order
T-case with TG 4.7 gear kit and TG twin stick shifters.
TG bombproof motor and t-case mounts.
Rear driveshaft built by Carolina Driveline(?), and front drive shaft is a square tube hitch receiver setup
Rear axle is 3rd gen V6 e-locker with original drum setup. Inchworm wiring harness. Chevy 63" rear springs. Electric e-brake solenoid installed but not wired up.
Trussed front axle housing, welded/lincoln locked front 3rd, and dirty 30 chromo shafts. Springs are rears up front, recently replaced with modified TG/All-pro(?) pack.
TG six-shooter knuckles. TG drive slugs. ORD and/or TG tie rod and drag link (heims/johnny joints on drag link ends).
TG hydro-assist pump and reservoir. Rebuilt Hydraulics Express(?) ram. Steering box moved forward and plated on frame rail.
39.5" SS Iroks on 15" Allied beadlock wheels on all 4 corners (decent shape). Three spares on varied un-beadlocked rims in decent shape which come with.
Bilstein 5150's on all four corners.
Floor system rebuilt with 1"(?) square tube.
TG(?) rock sliders and homemade custom front bumper.
Scott at MetalWorks built the cage and tunnel cover to tie into homemade floor pans.
Smittybuilt XRC8 winch with synthetic rope.
12volt guy switch panel which has keyed ignition, e-locker switch, winch switch with in/out toggle, coil switch, fan switch, front light bar switch, front spotlights switch, rear top-mounted tail lights switch, and rock lights switch.
Painless wiring kit including fuse/relay panel.
Tach is color changing with shift light ability. Includes water temp, oil pressure, and voltage gauges.
Homemade dash setup with same 1" square tube as floor. CD player with two dash mounted 4" speakers.
Seats are 1st gen 4runner seats with 5-point harnesses.
I'm sure I'm missing somethings but feel free to contact me with any questions. I wouldn't hesitate to take this rig on the trail today, and I'm sure several members here can testify that this thing does work.
She has brought me many years of good wheeling and good times, and I hate to see her go. Unfortunately, it's time to move on to a new project, but I'm confident ole girl will bring one of y'alls many years of enjoyment also. I've got a ton of pictures and vidyas which I can post or send if requested. Pictures shown are current.
Asking $9500 OBO.
Reasonable offers will be entertained.
Located in north Charlotte.
