1983 Jeep Scrambler restomod for sale. This Jeep started out as a fairly basic Scrambler from the factory. I have made it close to being a Laredo clone with just a few pieces left for someone to complete the look.
Asking $32,500 as it sits. Full soft top and full doors, half top and bulkhead, YJ half doors, etc
I’ve come to realize I don’t need two Scramblers and honestly don’t want two Scramblers. The ‘81 I’m building is the logical next step for my needs so it’s time to let the ‘83 go.

The basics:
built AMC 360 with AMC Performer intake by Edelbrock and carb, HEI, stock manifolds with Flowmasters
Factory auto 999 rebuilt
tilt column
Dana 300 rebuilt
Tom Woods shafts front and rear
Warn bumpers front and rear
Warn front lights
Speed hut gauges
Axles are 410s with 1-piece rears and a Detroit Tru Trac
Painless wiring
Base model front and rear seats
Tuffy stereo console
Be Cool radiator
2.5" YJ conversion BDS lift kit
32x11.50 BFG ATs on factory 15x7 chrome wheels
steering upgrades
Navajo bake system
All black parts were sandbasted and powder coated.
Etc, etc, etc
The only known issue is that when sitting in traffic on a hot Summer day the temp will start to creep up. I have never overheated it and it always cools back down once you are in motion again. The logical next steps would be to install a remote transmission cooler and possibly a warmer thermostat (it currently has a 165 in it, some say the suggested 180 would actually help cool it down based on coolant flow).
I'm an open book with this Jeep. Nothing to hide about it. Multiple folks from this group have actually seen it in person. Feel free to chime in and support or dispute anything I have said or shown.
