I am going to paint it olive drab, I painted the tailgate to see what it would look like, and I like it. I'll get a pic of it tomorrow and post it. Will probably paint the truck this weekend if the weather allows(no garage).

lookin good. you gonna keep the bodylift or change to suspension? i always wanted a 84. you selling the rollbar?

Body lift will stay for now, but the front leafs are about worn out so when it comes time/I have $$$, I'll probably go w/ a complete suspension lift. Sure the rollbar can go to the first person who comes and gets it for $10(gotta get something out of it:)) Located in Casar, NC. It is not in the greatest condition, but it's nothing some sandpaper and spray paint can't fix. I'll take some pics of it tomorrow also incase anyone else is interested.

Dang, if you werent 315 miles away from me id pick it up, i know how it is having to wait till the moneys right. keep us updated on this thing, i might get some ideas for my truck!

Here is the color I will be painting. Opinions? I may do from the body line down black, possibly even Herculiner or similar. It is kind of hard to tell the color in the picture, it's darker in real life.

Also, anybody have any opinions on herculining the interior?

the color looks good for an offroad truck. i put bedliner in the cab of one of my trucks, it looked awesome, and was tuff.

what type motor is in it? 22re?

nice, thats what i have. that color is close to what i was looking at for mine. i like flat paint because it dont show dents as bad. post pic when your done painting it.

Will definately post pics, the paint is Rustoleum Dark Olive. Anybody got an estimate on the number of cans(aerosol)? I'm thinking about 8-9.

it took me 11 cans of primer to do my truck.

This was only 4.5 cans of Rustoleum Satin Dark Olive. I think I may give it a few days and do another coat since I bought 15 dang cans. At least I'll have plenty for scratch touch up and such.

4.5 cans??? lol it took me 11 cans, but i put it on pretty thick too. looks pretty good.
