1988 yj ax-15 to 1994 yj

ive been looking for a trans for my 1994 jeep yj. i found one local but it is from a 1988. it coul de a peugot but im pretty sure it is a ax-15. i know the older yj trans require pilot bearing modification to work. anyone have any idea what all this entails? i need my jeep back on the road and with a new baby im limited on choice$. i also want to convert it external slave, i can reuse my 94 stuff and wap it over right?

As far as I know the AX15 did not show up in the YJ until mid year of 89. I would look real close at it.

It deff is a ax15. According to google some late model 88s had them. Any idea what mods are needed to make it work on a 94 and convert to external slave?
