I just drove 2 hours to find out the 96 Z71 I was going to buy got sold during my drive. I am pretty pissed at the moment and considering other options. Cheaper and little to no payments. What would you pay for this toyota? I will be going with cash if it makes a difference. Can you tell from the pics if its a SR5 or Deluxe?

Kellys Blue Book
Retail $3950
Private Party
Excellent $3000
Good $2650
Fair $2150

Edmunds
$1250 Private party
$2000 Retail

thats a good truck, its a 4banger, 5 speed, SR5 excab in good shape, they're almost impossible to find like that now, and very few were so heavily optioned and still had a 22re (most had the 3.slow). I would say go 3500 on it and you won't be doing too bad.

I like it alot

It is probably worth 4k, if he hasn't already sold it he will for his asking price. trucks sell quick, and that looks clean with fairly low mileage for a yot.

Is this going to be a DD or a trail rig, because if you are looking for a good trail rig there is a stock stright Axel near me for $1800 in good shape

$4K for a 17 y/o truck w/ 164k on it?

I paid $5k for a 96 Taco 4x4 w/ 80k on it, 3 years ago.

that isnt a good deal IMO.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, but it does look like its in good shape and maybe that particular truck has a enougn people looking for it that it drives the price up?

I have seen it in person it was about 6 weeks ago. It has been repainted so dont let the paint fool you into thinking everything is in that nice of shape.? What makes it a SR5?
