I have a 92 Toyota that I am thinking about selling. bought it off this sight about 7 years ago. put a motor in it and have been driving it since. I really need more room and been thinking about a 4 runner. kids are starting to grow and need more room in the vehicle. I have a 2002 f350 crew cab, but don't like driving it everyday. love the yota. have people hounding me about the truck. had someone stop me at lowe's the other day wanting to buy it. I really don't want to sell it around here because i'll see it everyday.

since summer of last year I've had the timing chain and cover replaced, head gasket, and water pump and thermostat. it runs good but doesn't have much power. I wouldn't hesitat to drive it anywhere. I will try to post some pics of it tomorrow. just trying were to see I should start at. my buddy who works on it said to start about $5500. he kind of wants it to, but he will just end up selling it. thanks, jesse

Is it stock? What about the classic body and frame rust that is factory standard equipment on Toyotas?

5500 sounds really high for a 23 year old truck... unless it is in really good shape I would have guessed more like $3000.

it is 4 wheel drive. little lift on 32's. 274,000 on truck, but put a rebuilt motor in it at 204,000. 22re. nice truck, drive it everyday, but just need the extra room. has a few little dents and pings in it. 4 runner sport seats. ac also works on it. I get a whole lot of, do you want to sell that truck?, from people, but have never thought about it till now. just tossing the idea around. oh, and no rust whatsoever. thanks, jesse

Nice truck but I to would start around $4k. It would have to be low miles and really clean and straight for me to give 5500 for one, but hey, everybody is different and it may be the exact truck someone is looking for and you might get close to $5k. But if you wana move it, I would start lower

I really don't want to sell it. don't need to move it. just don't need 4 vehicles for myself. not counting the wifes car. just wanting more room for growing kids. I drive this thing everyday to work and around. don't drive the f350 but maybe once a week at the most. just wondering were to start at? hate to see some kid around here tear the crap out of it. it's not a cherry truck by no means but a very reliable driver. thanks for all the advice. might be for sale on here in a couple of weeks. if I buy a 4runner. haha. jesse

the motor has been in the truck 7 years now? 70,000 miles put on it and it has never had any power. don't think the place where I got the motor from did a great job on it. reliable, just no power.

Is it an auto tranny?
32s and a 22re, if the original gearing, won't be fast... and if its an auto, even worse.

No, its not an automatic. These 4 angry squirrels arent to angry. Hahaha. Have always heard that they didnt have to much power. Was supposed to go look at a 99 4 runner this weekend but it fell thru. Like i said, just looking for a starting point on the pricing if i sell. Thanks for all the input. Jesse.
