1994 4Runner, I don't know where/what this wire does

Right before I went wheeling the other day I noticed a bit of a hissing sound and got under the car and saw it was a small like pinhole in the radiator, no biggy. But when I was getting back up I saw this wire dangling from the differential I searched for a place that it would go but found none and then I also saw that the tubing around the wires was broken open and it contained two words(white and black) one of which being frayed in two. I have looked and looked and can't figure out what it goes too. It might be for the abs? Or for the 4wd when it locks the hubs and the hubs are stuck in 4wd? Help me out Toyota guys!!!

Looks like it may go to the shift motor for the center axle disconnect?

The CAD/ADD is vacuum operated, but the indicator light switch is in the diff if I remember right.
Might check if the light comes on in dash in 4x.

What ^ said. The ADD is vacuum operated. The wires are for the 4wd indicator light in the dash.

Shhhhh..... It's the light wire for the 4wd light
