Hey guys Im new to the site and have been wheeling for years. I got me a 1994 jeep zj right now that im building up. 1994 jeep zj 5-speed. 355 gears. that is what it looked like when i brought it home

I havent really seen to many of them modded but i know the 5 speed if rare. So im not a 100% on what im going to do with it. i love to put 410s in it but i cant find any axles with gears alrdy in them and i dont have the down time to put gears in myself anymore.

Prolly 6"lift with 4.10s and 33s with black rims and running bars and new black seats and stuff. fix the push bar and maybe a winch. Girlfriend is trying to get me to put on green underbody lights and make it a show jeep im thinking a mud jeep would be way more fun lol

yea on the weight sale i grossed out like 10,000lbs with jeep and trailer and camaro with it packed full of scrap metal.

Gas:50-60bucks
Loading trailer with car:1 day
Loading car full of extra junk metal:1day
Made:700 bucks
cost= One 31x10.5 and 50-60 in gas......I really cant complain. well maybe the 45 mins it took to get jeep up to change tire with it being 110 outside.

all i can say about finding cheap rims is keep lookin up here and craigslist, i gota set of black D holes for cheap, if youd like a cheap 2inch lift check out www.crawlerready.com , i got my 2inch spacers from their and love them

I got the springs from a v8zj and im gonna do that front to rear swap for now. Ive been hitting craiglist up but no one has the black rims up there.

The biggest tire im ever gonna run is 35s so that being said i think my axles r gonna get 456 gears with lsds. i mud more then climb so i dont think ill break anything to much.

I was looking at a ls1 if my motor gives out. They got the kit to make my ax15 tranny bolt to one. I think it would pretty kool to have a ls1 power jeep. I havent seen or heard of any yet. Research is needed

ok its been a while but here is the lastest update on zj.
lifted 3-4" lift.
sway bar disconnects.

not too much other then that cause it has been my dd for a while now due to my other truck being down.

It is a mess im cleaning it all up and fixing the bent bull bar. and maybe just redo the whole front and rear. rain is holding me back right now

OK guys its been a lil bit. But i havent done to much to zj. i did pick up a xj for dirt cheap. 1990 jeep xj with 4.0 auto 4x4.

Find four front springs from 94 5.2 use two up front two in back with spacers and you should have a good lift for what your wanting to run might nees some trimming but thats just part of the game unless ya lifting it to the sky, I found on my zj that anything more than 5in isnt really needed zj's fles great anyway just make sure your bumpstops are lil longer to keep from rubbing an ya shoudl be good just my thought i have a zj rig and id never swap it for anything!!!

i got a 4" lift on the zj now. order the control arms so i can fit my 33s. My main thing is my xj right now. i started recovering the visiors and overhead consoles.
