Anyone know anything about them? My grandma has one and wants me to help her sell it... I have no idea what it even is besides looking it up online.. I cant find any 4-sale (1 on ebay) to help her come up with a price...

It's a 1994 Red Mercury Cougar XR7
4.6L OHC V8
4R70W Automatic
90K miles
Leather, power, etc.
Always garaged and (2) owners... :lol:


I dont even know where to start with helping her? Anyone of you older fellows ever own one (I was 12 when it was made) ?
 
they have a small cult following. im sure there is a forum somewhere.

its basically a supercharged ford thunderbood.
 
No, it isn't a supercharged TBird, it is just a TBird with a different body. Unfortunately, they aren't worth as much as the T-birds of that era, which aren't worth all that much either.

I'd say it is worth about $3500. I personally love them and I'd love to have one as a DD if I didn't need easier access to get my kids out of the back seat.
 
WOW!!! $3500, I don't know much about the cougars of the era, but I do know I've bought a handful of Tbirds from the same time frame with roughly the same miles, all have been in the $600-1500 range (last one bought was 4 years ago, people have even less money to buy vehicles now). A couple had the 3.8 and a couple had the 4.6. Maybe I just got smoking deals, but I'm not sure I'd lay down more than $2500 for a Tbird/Cougar.
 
not to hijacck but when was the last 5.0 t-bird/cougar?
