1994 Toyota pickup gas light

I have a 94 Toyota pickup that I drive everyday. I have never seen the low fuel light come on and I've run it pretty low just to find out. I'm not in the habit of pushing my luck with running on E but I've had this truck a while and wanted to know if it has a light and when it will come on?

put a full gas can in the back & run it until it comes on or you run out & it does not work

Does it have a tachometer in the gauge cluster or not?
