I have a 95 jeep wrangler with a 4.0L engine. I went to go drive my jeep and it started with a high idle and i could already tell that something was wrong. shortly after my check engine light went on. it read code 24 (tps sensor) which isn't new for me. have dealt with this same problem now for 2 weeks and went through 3 throttle position sensors already. I got a used sensor from the junk yard and installed it on my jeep. when i went to go start it all it did was turn over; no start. I tried to see if my check engine light would read out anymore codes to solve this problem but then realized that the light would not come on. i tried disconnecting the battery to see if it would reset anything but still the check engine light would not come on. I replaced the light bulb and it still would not come on. everything else works fine (like the radio brake light turn signals and abs light) but the check engine light. Does anyone have any ideas?
