hey guys i went mudding today and i got water in the pulg hole i took all the plugs out and bowled out the water in there put plugs back in and its ran but has a stutter now i have changed the plugs twice pulg wires cap and all it and it still wont run right anybody have any ideas on what is wrong

first you still have water in your cylinder's and it will run like shit untill you get it out and did you check your oil if you was able to get it in the head you could have get it in your oil. What is it doing

its does it when i give it gas or driving it like there is a back fire in the intake or something and it has now power now ive change pulgs and wires im sure that i got all the water out of the cylinders cause it does run but just not sure whats going on do i need to take my throttle body off and get the water out of there cause i also checked my oil and it looks fine but in still going to change it and it soulds like it only running on 4 or 5 cylinders

with it running pull one wire at a time to see if it runs any worse be careful you dont want to get zapped it should run worse when you pull off a wire if it doesnt that should tell you something is wrong with spark to that cylinder like maybe the wire is bad or not seated properly or the plug might be bad plugs dont usually go bad though you could have also damaged the ecu do you know anyone with a spare ecu you could swap in

well its possible to have water in your throttle body and what do you mean it sounds like it is back firing through the intake i would recommend changing the plugs but the wires should be fine. If you are having power lose its probly because you have water mixed gas causing the the spark plug to wet foul. Which some times happens with boats do to them being in water. Another thing I would do is to spray carb cleaner or starting fluid in each spark plug hole to be 100% sure because oil and water dont mix and water and gas dont mix either. And how deep in the mud where you

i have changed the plugs twice now and im change the oil right now to see if that fixes it then im try to spray carb cleaner in the plug holes and it was like 3 1/2 feet deep went to the hood and it has 4 1/2 lift with 33s and sunk it that far lol

Damn buddy where do you mud i need to go somewhere like that. Yeah try that when you take old truck like that mudding its not uncommon for them to do stuff like that like mine. I have a 1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4 6 in lift on 33s and i sunk mine and I ended up have muddy water in places it should not be and thats do to old gaskets separating and not sealing like they should so i rebuilt my motor from top to bottom. So being sayed be careful when your doing stuff like that it dont take much to completely screw up a great running truck i learned my self but i still woulnt trade it for the nothing it great

i went to the flats ther a deep hole didnt think was that deep i was the only only one to try it the whole weekend lol i just bought a snorkel today for 600$ so that dont happen again i just got to get it running better now

well i have changed the oil and it still runs ruff i took a look at the intake manifold im not sure if was the sea foam that i put in there or if was water but at the bottom of the throttle body the was fluid floting there i clean out what was in ther to see if that would help but it didnt so im not sure what it is now just let me know if any body has an idea

still didnt fix it i hear a ticking sound from fuel rail or injectors not sure i dont think it a lifter or any thing if you get the injectors wet will they start making a ticking sound

well guys i figured out what it was the guy that help us out switched 2 plug wires after we took the plugs out and got the water out so now it runs great now thanks for yalls help
