1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS

I bet one thing.................you will want to trade it for something in about 6 mos

You want a car that someone has beat the shit out of because it was in fast and the furious?
New transmission isn't a good sign...
If it's a 50+ year old lady that's selling it, and she was the only owner, I'd say go for it.
If its some 18-29 year old male, I'd run.

OK...
18 year old guy...
He and his parents want him in something slower...
I was thinking the same thing about the transmission...
I want a reliable car or truck that is good on gas...that 2 adults and 2 children will fit in.
More often something that I will fit in. It would just be me driving back to work, and occasionally my 2 little boys and wife would all ride in it together...

wasnt the RS the base model?

If so, fast is not in that things vocabulary.

The GS-T and GSX were the ones you wanted back then, I believe both had AWD, at least the GS-T did. Turbocharged 210hp engine in them both. The RS came with a 140 hp Naturally aspirated.

Sooo.... why would you even consider this car? That car would be busting at the seams w/ 4 people.
Remember, "children" grow up to be "big boys" and take up a lot of space.

I know the GS-T and the GSX were both turbo but only the GSX was AWD; I had one.

I know...

I just need to stick to specifically what I want...and not deviate...
Civic
Accord
Camry
Maxima

You guys know how I get off center sometimes...

Andrew, you look for a car every couple weeks? You still havent gotten anything?!? This is not the route you wanna go!

I really wish I could find a buyer that would buy my Suburban for $3000

Then I'd either take the $3K and my CRV and get a Pilot, or I'd just keep the cash and put it back for emergency money. Technically between my wife and I, we have a 99 CR-V, a 98 Civic, and my 68 Mustang...

I really guess I don't need a 4th car. If I need to haul something, dad has an 03 Tacoma Pre-runner...

Now...If I could find someone in need of the Suburban...and with $3k in hand
