I need a new exhaust manifold on my Tj because mine is cracked. I've tried the flex pipe style and I got a set off of eBay that were supposed to hold up but they have cracked also. I don't want to cheap out and have the same thing happen but I also don't want to spend an arm and a leg if I don't have too. What kind of headers have y'all had good luck with?

The banks header on my son's TJ split just like the manifold, fwiw.

I like the way the pacesetters are setup. Is the split design made to correct the splitting problem or is there no major reasoning for that? Either way it's something different and I found a set on jegs website for 310. I'm going to give them a try. Thanks for the heads up

I'm surprised to hear that the pacesetter is the winner in this competition. Usually they're the budget-minded header for folks who don't want to shell out money for something real.

I'd check for loose motor mounts and loose exhaust mounts as well. I'm running a stock manifold I welded a year and a half ago with no issues thus far.
