I am hoping we have some electric gurus here!?

I have a hitch that I put on my 97 Wrangler, and so now I am wanting to add a 4 prong wiring tap so I can run the trailer lights.

"everywhere" I search, they seem to lump the 97 TJ in with the 1988-1995 Wranglers for these plug and play harnesses?

Then they show the 1998 and beyond as a different harness?

The 1998 harness (that plugs directly in / no splicing)

The harness that is given for a 1997 (and older) Wrangler

Were the tail lights in the 97 different from a 98?

Thx in advance!

I just used a generic 4 prong and wired it into the Jeep harness right before it goes through the body (into the wheelwell) in the back. I can take a look later this week if you want to know what wires to tie into.
