I am hoping we have some electric gurus here!?
I have a hitch that I put on my 97 Wrangler, and so now I am wanting to add a 4 prong wiring tap so I can run the trailer lights.
"everywhere" I search, they seem to lump the 97 TJ in with the 1988-1995 Wranglers for these plug and play harnesses?
Then they show the 1998 and beyond as a different harness?
The 1998 harness (that plugs directly in / no splicing)
http://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Wiring/Jeep/Wrangler/1998/118409.html?vehicleid=19983798
The harness that is given for a 1997 (and older) Wrangler
http://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Wiring/Jeep/TJ/1997/118356.html?vehicleid=1997
Were the tail lights in the 97 different from a 98?
Thx in advance!
