I'm going to replace all the plugs wires and whatever else to help with the miss that i keep getting from the number 1 cylinder. i of course like most want to get the best bang for my buck. with that said what are the best plugs for a stock 4.0l with about 227k on the ticker? i havent ever really thought about it before ive just replaced them with whatever was cheap and available. thanks everyone

Byt the way its a 98 cherokee xj 4wd, 4.0l auto with lots of miles

I'm running a conrad cap and button, bosch wires and splitfire plugs on my 93... Been running that for the last 150k with no problems. Running the accell kit on the 89 with splitfire plugs also with good results...

they call for copper plugs. ive run duralast wires and bosch copper plugs in mine 4yrs and do good for me. bosch, autolite, and champions run 1.99each and ngk are like 2.29 or so. i have a xj and work at autozone so see it daily. if it makes a :poop:

Ive always stuck with the factory champions and had great luck out of them. Think the part number is 438. Ive had the best luck out of bosch wires on the 4.0. I run the accell cap or what ever other brand you can find with brass inserts.
