If I decided to upgrade my rims and go to 31s from stock how will my gas mileage be? With my stock jeep I get about 15.1 mpg on average.

I was getting 14mpg around town and back roads with 30" tyres. Did better on the highway, upper teens. Mine was 2000 year model, automatic trans, well-maintained, mechanically stock with OME suspension.

I guessing MPG will decrease a tad with 31", but not by a lot.

I get 18 mpg in a 97 with 31s , I drive like a grandpa 75% of the time. And only run 93

3.73

I get 12 mpg if I run 89

Worth the extra 38 cents a gallon

I am on 35s regeared to 4.56 and am getting 16mpg. It blows my mind

I'm stock and get 19 mpg. With 31's you will get aprox 42mpg since we're throwing numbers around.

You know that a bored out TB, (yes I sell em:) ) can actually help mileage too. With a 4.0 and heavy tires, it needs all the help it can get....
