Well been out of the 4x4 trail fun for about 3 years, didn't real plan to get back into it until I came across this 1998 TJ sport at auction. I threw up a low ball bid of $1800 and won so here I am once again getting ready to sink a bunch of money into a Jeep.
Plans to start with are pretty simple
8.8 swap in the rear
Hi pinion D30 in front
maybe 4.88 gears
4" lift
slip yoke eliminator
35x12.50 tires
Custom made (By Me) front winch and rear tire carrier bumpers.
My son gets his permit next June so this is planned to be his first ride so nothing radical
