1999 Chevy s10 xtreme

Ok bought my son a s10 with a 4.3
Ac wont cool , its full of freon and clutch kicks on and stays on.
Air dont even seem like its trying to cool.
Any idea what to check ?

How do you know its full? Got gauges hooked to it? Know what your pressures are?

Are the lines getting cold and condensating? If so could be a stuck or bad blend door or actuator. GM's are bad about them. Almost as bad as fords.
