1st gen toyota questions

So I'm a newbie to this...I have an 83 toyota pickup and I just bought a 22re from a second gen to replace my 22r...new engine is mated to a 5speed. I know the 1983 version originally only came with a 5 speed, but will the motor mounts from the new 22re be ok with my 83 cab? Also, will the transfer case mounts line up? Thanks ahead of time!

Engine will be fine trans is 3 inches longer

You will have to make some adapters for the intake and exaust but it's not hard

No you have nuts welded in the frame so you will have to make new mounts for the crossmember to mount to or you can just use your old trans

im assuming my driveshaft will be too long...it is easier to get driveshaft work done or is there a good way to move that axle back to accommodate? i have a good friend that does driveshaft work so he may give me a deal...just wanting to know my options...thanks ahead of time
