TJ dana 44 trac loc

Does the trac locker perform well? this is the first one that I've owned and haven't got to wheel in it yet.

If it is like the gov-loc in my 14bolt then it will require some gas to get it to lock in. Then again mine is old.

They work okay if you remember that they are limited slips. It definitely is not as good as a true locker but it is much less noticable on the road.

Do you know how many miles are on the trac-lock? When they wear out, they're basically an open diff. again. I'm going to rebuild mine in the spring b/c its gotten to the point of all slip and no limiting lol.

PS, I've learned you can make a trac-lock work well with some manipulation of the brakes to load up the clutches.
