I have a stock 01 expedition that I wanna put a lift and 36s to 40s on, would like 44s but might be a little too much. I talked to a guy at a rim shop so he said no I couldnt fit a 15" rim on the truck that I could go no lower than 17s. Does anyone know if there is something I can do to fit 15s on this?

What size wheels are on there now? The only reason I can think of for not being able to fit 15's would be the size of your brake caliper/rotor. Take a look behind your wheel and see how much clearance you have.

I have an 01 F-150 4x4 and have 17'' rims on it. I wanted to go to a smaller rim cause of tire cost but couldn't because of rotor and caliper size. Ford kinda has ya by the nuts on this one. When they made these models they made it to hold bigger rims to have better breaking. Nothin ya can do about it.

I believe some Expeditions came with 16" rims, but I have never heard of one with 15". Usually (but not always) the manufacturer puts the smallest wheel possible on the vehicle to save their costs as well.
