2001 XJ - what would you ask for this?

Hey fellers, I need to unload my 01 XJ. I'd really appreciate some ideas on what I should ask for this when I post it to AutoTrader and craigslist shortly. I'm only selling to get a Frontier/Tacoma for a nice daily driver.

Specs and issues follow:
-2001 Limited
-174,XXX
-4wd auto 4.0
-Power locks/windows/keyless
-Tow package (not factory)
-2.5" Old Man Emu lift (springs/shocks, <5k)
-Brand new steering stabilizer (<5k)
-Brand new stock LCAs (<5k)
-Brand new sway bar bushings (<5k)
-ZJ tie rod (<5k)
-Black 15" steelies
-30x9.5 Grabber AT2s (fronts need replacing, rears 70%)
-Hella 500s on the front

Problems:
-AC doesn't work (needs new compressor)
-Drivers window doesn't work (switch panel in door needs replacing)
-Headliner needs replacing (might do this before I sell)
-Serious death wobble. Serious. 55mph-62mph is a carnival ride. I replaced pretty much the entire front suspension last fall (for $1500!!) and it didn't do the trick. I'm at a loss and don't want to keep DD'ing it as is...
-Front speakers don't work (almost surely just a wiring problem through the door hinge)

That about does it. Some other small blems, there are a few scratches in the paint. Interior is in great shape (except that headliner), 4wd has been awesome, no problems. Motor and tranny run strong. This thing has never been properly wheeled, it's been my mountain biking and hunting rig since high school. Lots of memories will go with this guy!!

So....what would you guys ask for this thing? I figure you all know way more about the current market than I do, plus I am biased because I can't include sentimental value with the sale price :)

$2-2.5k, I'd post it as $2.5 OBO..being a Patriot Blue limited, it would be a cool one to build or fix up for someone, you could replace that headliner material yourself for $30-40 to make it more appealing to a potential buyer, not a hard job.

If you spent $1500 on the front end alone and it still has serious death wobble maybe list what has been done with that $1500. At least then buyers know what's there to work with. Your market is wiped out by death wobble issues. You could be a small fix away from getting it fixed. I'd recommend the new users forum and post images of your steering setup. Lots of smart guys on here that can spot problems with one pic.

Thanks for the ideas guys. Lots to think about. Maybe this weekend I'll put up a DW thread and see what comes. Stupid DW. Argh.

death wobble or vibration balance? a small window (5-10mph) as you describe is generally tires out of balance. seeing that 3oz wheel weight on your left front makes me think you should go get your tires rebalanced and see what changes. also try rotating them front to rear and see what changes.

I have had tires out of balance cause this as well, did a rotation and balance and never had it reappear, its definitely with a shot.

$2,000

I've never give more than $300 for an xj and I've had several ...the last one I had was a 99 sport in great condition and ready to go on the road for $220 ..they make good cheap trail rigs

Moved to Chit Chat as you are not selling anything here and...people are providing less than positive feedback so instead of nuking the whole post I figured we'd see where it goes.

1500-2000... I avoid the 2000-2001 models personally but if I can get them for a deal I pick them up.

I could see giving you $1500, Im pretty confident I could have the death wobble issue figured out in the first 20 minutes, clean it up, throw a headliner in, and list it for right at $3000 in a matter of 48 hours.
