Getting ready to stretch my 2004 jeep tj and will need to relocate the evap canister. Has anyone done this before that can shed some light on what to do?

I'm sure Chris has it handled. He's been there done that.
All you (he'll) need to do is mount it wherever there's room, extend the hoses and wiring, call it done.

just a matter of figuring out where it will fit after other stuff is out of the way. it's a trivial bit. Also known as a "fiddly bit"
If you're doing it on your own, it's one of the annoying things that "I'm almost done" crap, forgot about that.
When you're a shop, and you've done it before, it's in the quote to allow for finding somewhere for it. no big deal at all.
