I've been trying to sell my 2000 7.3L F250 for a couple of months. When I end up selling it I plan on working on getting a newer tacoma or frontier. I had a 2003 double cab tacoma, but I sold it to my father's company because his keeled over. My question is what I should get. I'm familiar with toyota's and know how reliable they are, but a 2nd gen 4x4 tacoma (preferably double cab) is pricey for a college student. I have some friends that have newer frontiers and they love it. I'm attracted to the Frontier because of all the features and they are a bit more in my ball park financial wise. Both trucks are comparable in fuel economy, they perform similarly, and they both have their ups and downs. What would be a big tie breaker?
Right now I'm leaning toward the frontier because it'll be more in my price range.
