2005 WK clicking front diff ELSD

Guess my clutch packs aren't getting along. Replaced diff fluid and it fixed it for a few weeks until I had to do a U- turn one day, it started back and now it's undrivable. Any idea? Is there a cheap fix other than spending a ton at the dealer for a new assembly?

Appears despite the electronic part, they still require adding friction modifier... any chance you didn't?

They do require friction modifier, BTDT.
The carrier is available separate from the front diff assembly (at least it was when I was a dealer tech). It will take some specialized tools and a housing spreader to remove the carrier however.
May want to look for a used unit depending on availability.

It was added but all I had was the GM additive. I've been hearing it has to have the Mopar fluid.
