Do I need to plate the frame up front for a leaf spring SAS?
I see people do it for 3 link swaps, but all the force will be on the front cross member and right where the slider box mounts near the first body mount where frame widens.

I’m sure I’ll have more questions...
 
^ this, I have no practical knowledge but no one ever ever looked at the frame and said gee I wish I hadn’t plated this frame cause those not cracks look horrible.

True. It’s just gonna be a little tough and take some time.
And it’s not gonna be wheeled too hard by me. lol
