Any bets on how deep I went before stopping yesterday? That’s my shovel in the hole. I then went at it with my post hole digger. I’ll circle back when I have a mini x on site digging out these stumps.

I'd put a cutoff wheel on my angle grinder, lay on the ground and cut it off as low as possible, then fill the hole back in.

They usually are 6 to 8 ft deep i would cut it as low as i could and fill the hole in and be done with it.

Yep I was at 7' 7" when I threw in the towel. Side note. My neighbor called to see if I could help bleed breaks this am. He said he bets it's a power pole anchor.

Upside your gonna get what you want, down side is your creating a disturbed area of loose dirt. You can compact it but I suspect it will be a soft spot for several years.
I dug out a large stump. The bell hole i could park a Beatle in. I compacted every six inches best I could with bucket and tracks. All this rain and it's now a place I could sink my tractor in.

Didn't really think of that. I plan on root raking it all and then leveling it with sand clay anyway. I know there are wisteria roots in the top soil. You gig a foot or two and you are in clay here.

What kind of TT is that and speakers? That is awesome!

Decent DJ quality TT. But those speakers.... Klipsch are some nice speakers. Lascala's are the top of the Klipsch line and High $$$$.
