So, I have been looking to possibly get a car good on gas. Im tired of driving my jeep around everywhere I go and have really been looking into getting a WRX or a Mazda 3. (possibly a speed)
Well, an opportunity has come up that a guy that I work with has a guy that is storing a 2010 Honda civic in his garage for the last 2 years that only has 8k miles on it and I can get a killer deal on it. He bought the car for his son brand new, but his son wants something else (son is not old enough to drive yet) The guy I work with starts it up once a week and lets it run for a bit and takes for a spin around the neighborhood. Now...This is really not my car of choice...I like them, but the problem is the color (light steel blue) and its a sedan (I would get the Si or at least the coupe)
But for the price and it only has 8k miles on it...its practically a brand new car and would be a great gas saver.
Anyone own one of these? How reliable are they? any problems? Driveability?
Just wondering if getting a killer deal on a car is worth getting something that I don't really want but could live with.
 
If I buy, I must keep it.... Don't want my friend to think I just bought it at a killer price and turn around and sell it to make money...

what year is your wrx?
 
Buy it, drive it a little while, then come up with some lame reason why your wife made you sell it. Don't tell him how much $$ you made, or if he asks, lie and tell him it was the same you paid him. What he doesn't know won't hurt either of you.
Problem solved.
