Wondering if anyone can confirm that it is being held may 27-28? just curious seems its not really mentioned on here all that much...

It's harlan KY. It's by far the best place around to ride with thousands of acers. It makes Uwharrie look like a joke.

Verda

I have been told that verda is the farthest you can drive your atv or buggy in town. You can get a ticket if you go to the grocery store though, as it is not a access to the trail system. Just drive like you have sense,ware your harnesses or seat belts and don't drink and drive. There is alot of camping at verda, i would imagine there will be plenty of spots. Good luck its a blast.

What a great weekend. We had good weather and a great time. We did not get a chance to see any of the comps down at the field. I am sure they were awesome but It was a blast just riding at our own pace. We hit just about everything in two days. It was very wet from the storms we have had lately. The upper rock garden was a pond. My wife who has not been to Harlan in 2 years complimented the change in the community as a whole. She was impressed with how much an OHV park could change a town for the better. We went to the park when it first opened and i agree the town seems to have progressed leaps and bounds. I only wish that the government would recognize this potential in other states. Any who... Great time.
