Collective,
So I've had my Jeep for over a Year now and it's time for me to take changing fluids into my own hands (no pun intended). From a cost and education viewpoint.

My question is for the collective is What Fluids do you use, at what interval do you replace, and what additional tools / toys do you find useful or not so useful in changing.

So basic Fluids:

Oil -- Dino or Synthetic (And how often?)
Oil Filter -- Stick with Mopar? or are there others that are recommended? (Looks like there are others but have heard that some have failures (Like WIX has some known failures but STP Filters are probably OK.)

Differential Oil? (Heard that you need to replace about every 15K miles?
Front -- Mopar Gear and Axel Lub SAE 80W-90 (How often -- and is there a synthetic better?)
Rear -- (If you have Trac-Lok -- need additive? Anyone know what additive they are talking about?)
- If Towing dealer recommends: Mopar Synthetic Gear and Axel Lub SAE 75W - 140. (Any reason not to use this on the front too?) Probably more expensive -- but how often then do you need to go with this?)

Brake - Fluid
Mopar DOT 3 Brake Fluid -- SAE J1703 (How often does this need to be replaced?
can you do this without bleeding the entire system? Take initial out of reservior and replace with clean? (It looks like if you go the extra mile to bleed the brakes it wouldn't take you a long time to do it but sounds like you need to have help and proper tools?)

Power Steering ? (Mopar Power Steering Fluid +4 ) -- ??

Transfer Case? -- Should be good for life of vehicle? Although dealer wanted to change this too.
Mopar ATF +4 Automatice Transmission Fluid (or equivalent licenced ATF+4 product)

Engine Coolant -- Mopar Antifreeze - coolant 5 yr/100K M Formula HOAT or Equivalent.
(Looks like this is good -- but note must use 50/50 solution (Distilled water) to replace overflow
otherwise you might contaminate the system and might have to change.)

Before I start on changing fluids I wanted to make sure I'm using the right Fluid and if there are suggestions about how often and what new Tools (Toy's) I need to start collecting.

I just want to thank you in advance for all the great advice I am going to get and hope that other people will find this useful.

Thanks,
Mike Sewell
