2012 Uwharrie OHV Trail Opening Date

The winds of change have brought news that with the 1st of April falling on a Sunday in 2012, there is a possibility that the trails may open Friday March 30th for the 2012 OHV season!

Ranger Walker was very generous this this year in extending the closing date to Dec 18th so that we could have an extra weekend of wheeling and has left open the possibility that the new year might bring more of the same!

Be sure and communicate your thanks to Ranger Walker and all the other FS personnel that work on the OHV trail system the next time you see them!
 
Nice. I might have to take that Friday off work again and ride opening day.
 
If anyone has been keeping up with the Jamboree they have probably seen the opening of the trails set at Noon, then it was moved to 10AM. Well now the time frame has been moved to sometime in the morning. So if anyone is going off of the Noon or 10AM gate opening time, please be advised it could be earlier or later. I don't want anyone to show up early and be waiting for the gates to open.
