I recall one year the state team built a car using 7075 alum. To keep the treatment, they used aircraft epoxy to hold it all together. You can guess how that worked out for them.
 
I kinda got involved in SAE Baja at NC State back in 02-03, then transferred to UNCC and got involved in my own jeep build and chasing women.
