So, question.

I know a couple years ago people brought stuff and on Saturday night there was a form of an auction. Garage mysteries, decent stuff, shirts, somewhat used garbage that may still be good for someone else. The money raised went to a board member in need.

I propose next year we make this happen.

Thoughts??

I need to get shit out of my way. Help me out!

Pretty sure @77GreenMachine organized that. I donated a growler of beer from Wild Heart.
 
I’m game. I owe you a beer so any favorite styles? Think I’ll hit up the local brewery and bring something.

Speaking of beer. Does anywhere around you sell Low Tide beer? I'd kill for, and pay for a couple crowlers of Aloha Beaches.

That goes for any of you guys in SC.

Like I said any favorite styles? The local brewery cans ther IPA regularly and Blue North which is a Blonde Ale. But they have others I can fill a growler with. I’m hoping to come up Saturday after the service.

Im on board with the idea but im not enough of an organizer or presenter to make it happen. Somebody else take the lead and I’ll be happy to update the original post.

Maybe a bit short time for this year but was thinking next year when we all decide that we are going to get together at the place, with the stuff, and make each other a deal we can’t refuse…..
 
I've got no excuse any more, but I'll only be there Saturday from 10-3.

Yep, they sell 32oz cans called crowlers. They fill them on the tap and seal. I think they were $12 each. I'll take 4 if you can get them. I can send money however. I'll shoot you a text.

Either way it could be a way to stir something up. A little liquid encouragement and some shop treasures could make for a good time for a good cause.

I think we did raffle tickets as well. You bought a ticket and got something at random. I still have that bearing floating around somewhere lol.

Interstate commerce of an alcoholic beverage? Sounds like you boys better have an ABC license, DOT numbers, CDL, and a sales tax permit (or some other commie stuff)
