Since you guys and gals keep showing up and making my annual "reason to work on the Jeep and actually go 4wheeling" trip a great event, lets go ahead and get another date on the calendar before all the good ones get tookt. Poll shows the dates that are currently available. There are earlier dates in September, but it could also be 95 degrees, so I'm vetoing that. The December weekends are low traffic, which is nice, but dang that cold weather is cold every other year it seems and that makes the potluck food cool off too fast, so keep that in mind :D. Poll is currently set to unlimited choices, but if you have preferential dates, just select 3 or 4. I assume Thanksgiving and Halloween Weekends are a no-go for most people, but heck, if that's what everybody wants, we will make it happen!

Is that good or bad? Should I remove that weekend from the poll so it doesn't conflict?
It can definitely impact some of us being able to hang out since we coordinate the event. The trails may be a little more congested too. But, we encourage everyone to come that weekend anyway, so there's that šŸ˜‰

I see that you removed it already, but I voted for two other weekends before you had. IMO everyone should go to the Veterans ride because it's an awesome event for a great cause. But it is a lot of people from various groups, and isn't exactly the same vibe that the G2G has. I went to both last year and previous years, and enjoyed both equally but for different reasons.

I’d like to say have it the same weekend of the Vet Ride just to get people to come for ALL of the good reasons but, it would clog the trails and being two different events at different areas I’d hate for one to take away from the other evenings ā€œgoings onā€. Also would hate to give a reason to cause issues with the fuzz on road ways after any levels of libations to get to respective sleep areas.

Agreed on all points.

In, probably.

Not to muddy the waters...but to muddy the waters: Is there time/desire to organize a spring get-together too?
I think that's a great idea, but it takes me a year to get my rig fixed. Well it takes me a week, but it takes 11 months to get motivated, and 2 weeks to order parts, and a week to get em installed.
