Well, I guess this is actually becoming a thing! We planned in advance 2 years in a row!

Who: All y’all (Yes, even you, Mr. I Don't Have A Rig I Just Talk About It Online)(And you, Mr. Too Hardcore for Uwharrie)(and you Mr. Dirtbike)

What: 7th annual get together of camping, wheeling, BS’ing around the fire, eating some good food, and just generally having a good time

When: October 23-25, Friday-Sunday

Where: Uwharrie Group Camp (sites A, B, C), 120 Kings Mountain Rd, Badin, NC 28127

MOST IMPORTANTLY: We will be doing a potluck on Saturday night as we've done in the past. Let me know if you plan to bring anything and I'll keep a running list below. Also, I will volunteer to eat with anyone who will share food with me at any meal because I don’t want to have to cook, so if you’d like to break bread with me, bring some bread and let me know! :D

No way am I going to try that nastiness. Pickled pigs feet at old time gas stations gross me out too. Pig brains in milk is another thing I won’t consider. Who the hell eats that crap!

All this coming from a guy who prepared, cooked and ate unrefrigerated meat that was on the dirt floor in Bolivia back in early 90s. Pretty sure it was dog ass. While I was trimming the fat I cut a butthole out of it.
 
I’m taking notes… we not really I’ll just come back here and devise some campground grub for this year.

Been years since I've camped with some NC4x4 peeps, way past due I will put in on the calendar!
 
Just got a save the date for my younger cousins wedding in October and gasped thinking there might be a conflict… close call and I’m still good. Wedding a week before. At the rate I’m going this might be the shakedown ride. The boy doesn’t know it but he’s going to learn to drive in a one ton Toyota this weekend.

Hoping for no trail fixes as we all do. I might just be enjoying riding shotgun on the bunny trails all weekend. But I’ll have top notch trail food if anyone else is up for the scenic rides. I wanted to ride the rim loop or whatever it’s called last year with @BigSouth but didn’t know if I had enough fuel (and no extra… lesson learned… again/still). I think that will be our course this year so he can run the pedals and steer.

Dem scrimps were tasty last year!!
 
I learned to drive a 71 C-10 with a three on the tree when I was 13 in Montreat. He going to learn just before 13 in URE in a crawler. Same deal with here it it and let’s learn and you go. lol. Going to be a hoot.
