Ok---- I picked-up a 205 t-case that I think originally came on a sm465 trans ( 10 spline input t-case ). I'm going to pick-up a th400 trans. later this week. Where can i find an adapter/mount for this trans/t-case combo, or am i stuck trying to find a sm465 instead. Thanks

your not going to get a th400 with a 10spline out.

You could rebuild the 205 and change the input or buy an adapter(if someone even makes this), either way would be more $$$ than selling your 205 and buying a ,matching pair.

Seems like there is a 400/205 combo for sale for $400, it will cost that much to change yours.

You need the th-400 to 205 adapter. I don't know if anyone makes a new one, and used ones are pretty hard to find. You will also need a 32 spline input shaft, several people make these. Then you will have to have the 205 case machined out since the bearing for the 32 spline shaft is bigger than the 10 spline shaft bearing.
