22re injectors?

I bought a 1993 4x4 with 22re. It had been sitting for a few years. I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs,wires,02 sensor,cap,rotor and cleaned the tank when I put fuel pump in. So a few motors have pasted and its running on just #1 and #2 cylinders. I came home one night used lucas fuel treatment and then the it ran like crap. So I pulled the injectors. #1 and #2 where screens where half way full of rust. #3 and #4 where full to the top. So I'm going to have them rebuild. So should I drop the tank one more time and clean it and new fuel filter?

Depends on how well you cleaned the tank the first time. If you just rinsed it out, then you probably need to drop it again and take a putty knife to it. Send the injectors to fuelinjectorconnection.com

Well I had them rebuilt locally for $50 bucks pretty quick service.I dropped the tank and poured some diesel and used a chain and shook her around for a bit..

The lines hard lines coming out of the top of the tank are bad to rust and get brittle.

buy a new gas tank they are pretty cheap now rebuilt the injectors and good to go
