I have a crawlbox sitting in the shopAnyone?
Thanks man! I already have duals, just not a 4.7 case. Pondered the pros and cons of triple cases lots. Rear axle is welded in and somehow swapping the 14 bolt from the FJ80 rear didn’t need a new driveshaft so the triple case idea is just a fart in the wind now.I have a crawlbox sitting in the shop

Believe it or not, the driveshaft bolted right up with the same rust line as the 80 rear. Zero expense other than perches. However… it is tempting to buy another set of perches. I have to buy a front shaft already.I mean shortening a driveshaft is easier the lengthen
Ultimately atlas is what I’d like but my wallet disagrees, thus looking to score a 4.7 to not go (more) all in on building a yota case. Axles are 5.38FWIW I would suggest sticking to your original plan and run the duals with 4.7 gears in the rear case. In my opinion/experience Toyota cases generally live on borrowed time in an east coast rig as it is. A third case will only add more breakable parts at the rear of your drivetrain. 5.13 or 5.38 axle gears would be a good way to decrease stress on your t-case parts and reduce the likelihood of breakage. But nothing is gonna stop them from breaking when you dump the clutch in 3rd gear at 4k rpms, lol.
I've been there, honestly just save up and buy a 4spd atlas and 1410 ujoints and be done. Other than the supercharger you will have the same setup as I do after going through dual yotas, then yota-atlas, and now nwf-atlas (4spd atlas basically). With 5.38 in my axles.Ultimately atlas is what I’d like but my wallet disagrees, thus looking to score a 4.7 to not go (more) all in on building a yota case. Axles are 5.38
