231j with harmonic balancer

I broke the t-case in my 02 tj which has like a harmonic balancer on it which helps with vibration. Bout another 231j with out it one and jeep vibrates at 30 mph. How can I take the balancer of and put it on the new one. I tried but the inner and outer pieces were trying to separate

IIRC, there are threaded holes in the balancer just like on an engine application. Use a steering wheel puller and long pieces of all thread (or really long bolts) and pull it right off.

Thanks I got it off but I also went ahead and ordered the advance adapters sye kit and Tom woods drive shaft. So I want be needing it now
