A Harley is like a Swedish bikini model, phukin sexy whether its sittin or movin! Go fo da hog!
Ya gotta act stupid on da crotch rocket to get attention.

or leave Harley out of it all-together. The Warrior will stomp a V-rod. :flipoff2:

Yea, but a SS Camaro will outrun a Rolls Royce. I bet the Rolls pulls more puddin though!:fuck-you:

Dude, buy a Buell. They are awesome. I have an 09 XB12Ss. Absolutely love it.
And with the deals on remaining stock you can get a new one for 4 to 5K less than I paid back in April.

just bring me $5K and take mine home. i'll throw in 2 or 3 helmets, a nice jacket, nice swingarm stand, and chrome clutch and stator covers.

sweet rides guys! ahh, I like all those bikes, wish I had the funds for a 2 wheel project. honestly, I really don't care what it is as far as brand goes, kinda like with vehicles, if it rolls, I'll probably like it.

to lowestjumperxj: get whatever feels right man, and enjoy it!

Well, how about a twin cylinder crotch rocket? If you're gonna spend the amount of money you would on an HD, might as well spend that money wisely and get the sexiest thing on 2 wheels (at least in my opinion)

One day I WILL own one of these.

As for the person that said an HD is like a Swedish bikini model, I beg to differ. An HD is an overweight white trash chick with missing teeth and a drinking problem. The beautiful Italian creation above is the beautiful bikini model that is also a nymphomaniac.

Anyone who generically refers to a sport bike as a "Crotch rocket" (or for that matter, a "Ninja", a SRAD (pronounced by the ignoramous's as "Shrad") should not be riding one.

There are some great winding roads in NC/TN once you get away from the Raeford road straight liner crowd, but what you ride is YOUR decision.

If you really want to take the misses with you, then why not back off a notch and get something like a Honda VFR or other "sport touring" style bike that leans heavily on the sport side? I've KILLED pure sport bikes on the track with a VFR. It's all about the rider.

That said, there will eventually be 3 motorcycles in my garage.. my current Aprilia, a chopper/cruiser bike, and a touring bike.

I got to see one of these after the owner put it into a ditch on Hwy89 north of Danbury, NC. It was not pretty! Didn't hurt the bike to bad but pride took an ass whooping that day.

I was riding with the group with the 1198 on a friend's Ninja 636. On a long flat section I took off on the 636 and as noticed the speedo at 135 the guy on the 1198 passed me. I don't think he could have went by any faster if I had been dragging a parchute!

Harely's are cool....

if you're over 45 and like going slow, making a lot of noise and leaking oil...
some of them do look pretty cool though.
If you buy the Harley you'll also need to factor in the extra expense of having to buy a costume when you ride (black shirts from harley dealers, lots of leather, and helmets just protective enough to keep your brains all in one spot).

well I ended up going with a Harley. I'd had my eyes on this one for a while now, and finally got a chance to get it. I left Salisbuy at 4:30 am on January 3rd and drove to Pigeon Forge TN to pick it up, and drove back to Fayetteville (yes, all in one day). I got back to my house around 10:30 that night. before anybody goes flaming, I'd like for you all to know that this thing runs AMAZINGLY to be as old as it is. it looks great and is super clean. I've been riding all week in the cold (that's how much I love this thing)

Great, now there'll be another guy in bragg with an old shovelhead. Curious though, what did it start out as, it's obviously custom now. I've got an 81 FXS. Love the shovel era bikes!

Looks great btw

it's an '80 FXE. started life as a 1200 shovel, but now is a 1340 shovel. has a DNA springer front end, powdercoated rims, S&S super E carb, kick and electric start, HOK custom paint, etc. etc. etc. For as long as I can remember, I've wanted a shovel, and I just couldn't pass this one up when I finally got the right deal on it. nobody wants to ride with me since it's so cold...haha...when it warms up some we'll have to put a few miles on 'em.

Get a new Harley with 1960s engineered unbalanced push rod motor. Then grow a goatee and put on a tough man costume, but don't lean it over more than 15 deg or you'll drag the 180lb chrome pipe and crash. "Costume Bikers"
