I've got a 26 briggs on my zero turn. The bastard won't run. This has been an intermittent problem that comes and goes. I've isolated it by jumping all of the safeties.

It will only fire with the main plug to the engine unhooked. I'm sure there is a simple answer for that, but I'm stumped. That plug has

Grey. Fss
Black coil ground
Green oil shutoff. I've unplugged that too, jic
Red voltage reg.

What am i missing?

Have you missed a safety? Seat, each handle, and brake. Then the PTO and ignition switch are interconnected too. So it could be your ignition switch. I had to replace the ignition switch on mine last year and then my seat switch went out two weeks ago. I just jumped it until I get the new switch installed.

Mine is a joystick, so only one handle.
I've got the joystick, seat, brake, and pto jumped. I didn't think about it being the ignition switch. I just don't understand how all these things interconnect, i guess. The ignition switch was mad one time after i pressure washed it, but it would not turn over at all.
