I have really been thinking about getting a second job to help save money a little better. I don't want to work at a retail place where I have to have a set schedule...I am looking for something maybe a couple nights a week for a couple of hours. I know my dad told me that he worked at night on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursday for a cleaning company and all he had to do was go to this office and clean it..didn't take long and was easy money.

I am looking for something along those lines....for those of you who have a 2nd job...what do you do? and what do you suggest?

when times were tough, I worked counting inventory at nights for RGIS (click). The best part of the pay was if you could drive your own vehicle to the places, grocery stores, Walmarts, clothing stores, etc. It was relatively easy and mindless, flexible working hours, all nighters were an option. It kind of sucked, but hey, its a second job.

Retail doesnt mean set schedule. I work for Food Lion for my third job. I hand my manager a list of days with times I am available and she picks about half to 3/4 of them. Even when I was full time with Food Lion my schedule wasn't set. One week I might open three times and close twice, the next I might work five mid shifts.
