2x4 locker fit 4x4?

will a 89 2wd toyota p/u rearend locker fit a 87 4x4 p/u rearend?? its either an aussie or a lock rite.

depends on the axle. what axles are they? same spline? same gears? etc etc

If the axles are the same, the locker doesn't care whether you have a transfer case or not.
